I am noticing a weird spam effect. About a month ago I screwed up the dns settings for meetingbywire.com so that the MX record was pointing to the wrong place. I went the MVP summit, then holiday, then a family wedding. While I was away no email, no spam at brians @ meetingbywire.com -- really the only valid email address in that domain.
So I corrected the MX record and now can receive email but strangely enough have not received any spam -- not a single one. My email provider does screen out some of it but I regularly used to get 50-100 a day that slipped through. This is an email address that I used since 1997 and was (and is) widely distributed in newsgroups and therefore Google Groups.
