It seems I am caught in Comment Spam Purgatory. No matter what I do it seems I can't comment on a number of popular blogs (including Scoble, Winer, and a number of others). I am suspicious (since all seem to use Akismet) that something in my comments (or my name or blog address) has been tagged persona non grata across the board.
Scoble has found some comments in the spam bin and has allowed them through (when I can contact him) but still stuff is blocked. I have tried the Akismet support link but so far no change(I am keeping my fingers crossed).
I am wondering if this a common occurence -- makes comments on blogs somewhat less than useful if so.
Update: somebody from Akismet got back to me promptly and fixed the problem (and provided a link to test to see if it was fixed)- if only everybody provided this kind of service turn around (and apparently, as it turns out, it is a fairly common problem).
