I thought it might be hot in Paris in August, but little did I know how hot!  The city was relatively empty and despite the heat, Sheri and I really enjoyed ourselves.  We did the usual site seeing, but while Sheri was out shopping one afternoon, I decided to try the updated Museum of Natural History and I was very impressed.

One day we walked through the Jardin des Tuileries up along the Champ-Elysees and then to the top of the Arc de Triomphe.  He's what the the Eiffel Tower looked like from up there:

Sheri and I went to Ireland at the end of July and stayed at the Davenport Hotel in Dublin's southside. www.ocallaghanhotels.ie One of the best dinning experiences we had was at Jacob's Ladder on Nassau st. www.jacobsladder.ie Another can't miss place is The Tea Room in Temple Bar.
