The next Divx DVD Debacle

Hopefully this latest self-destructing DVD will go the way of the DoDo bird, just like the Circuit City Divx DVD initiative did. Just remember, if these folks had their way, we would have to pay each time we watch a movie we "own". I call that- Blockbuster. I don't see people allowing the greedy media companies to shift from the status quo, to a system where we pay each time we watch a movie or listen to a song. If it ever does become such a "Media Mafia", that will be a great catalyst for the independent artists to create a new system.
