Tulsa Based Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Dollar Rent A Car taps Percussion for Web site management software. The new software from Percussion will transfer responsibility for Web site updates to the company's marketing staff, freeing up IT workers for more development work. [Computerworld News] I was asked yesterday by a good friend, "do you remember when we worked without computers?"  Yes, and then after gaining the web it was "someday e-commerce will take off".  Well, today according to Dollar Thrifty, "The Web is a primary tool for driving our business ... More than 50% of our reservations come from the Internet."  Nice.
