Can someone hack into your computer via your browser?  Just how vulnerable are you?

I was impressed that a new tool by Scanit has become available online.  Checking IE vs Mozilla raised serious concerns on my end. I'd suggest running your browser to find out just how vulnerable you are.  If you haven't downloaded a copy of the latest Mozilla browser, you should.

In my test,  Mozilla Firebird 0.6.1 performed extremely well with no vulnerabilities.  BTW, Firebird is a very nice browser.  I've set it as my default browser now.  Not that I don't use IE, it's just that finding high risk vulnerabilities in my browser is not joyful.  Though they are fixed (registry edit needed), I shouldn't have had to worry about it.  The MS patch didn't fix the problem.

Scanit's Browser Security Test automatically checks your browser for various security problems. When the test is finished you get a complete report explaining the discovered vulnerabilities, their impact and how to eliminate them.
