Religion, politics, and geekdom. Robert Scoble works at Microsoft and really has an interesting personal blog worth reading. I enjoy his commentaries and views on technology. In this case, I cannot agree with him. His post reflects a personal opinion raising a flurry of comments, among them were a few of mine. His post refers to a missive written by "Rob". Scoble writes: "19-year-old Rob advocates putting religion back into schools, and other public displays. He says it's war on Christmas and Christians. There are few ideas more repugnant in today's society than this one." Well, though I obviously don't agree with Robert on this I find that many don't agree with me either. Buttons were pushed and some were in agreement. What fun during the Christmas season! Be sure to read the comments on Robert's article. 11:37:31 PM |
New URL for the PhillipsOnline BlogNow at http://blog.phillipsonline.com ~ I have decided to move this to our server since the URL is more recognizeable. It will allow me to customize it more effectively in the future also. This is surprisingly simple and effective. Radio is such an easy tool. Merry Christmas! We hope you've had a Merry Christmas. The wonder of God's miracle is still alive. Don't let it be covered up by the noise of merchandising. Yes, the actual date of Jesus' birth is unknown but the fact remains that He was born and that we have chosen this date to acknowledge Him. Let's ban that imposter "Santa" to a back room and ignore him next year! 1:06:28 AM |
