John Kerry: Phony then, phony now
So now it has been revealed that John Kerry didn't throw his medals in protest. He threw something else. He said he threw medals in past interviews but that's wrong now. He threw someone else's medals. Think about it. He was able to get medals from someone else to throw who wouldn't bother to come to the protest himself but felt so strongly about it that they would contribute his medals so that John wouldn't have to contribute his?
Were they even real? The real ones were still back at John's house.
John says he threw his ribbons (how did he have ribbons with him if he didn't have his medals?). I'm confused. I'm bewildered. What cost did John Kerry pay in his protest? None. He didn't give up anything. Nothing. He had his cake and ate it too.
John Kerry is as phony as his protest.
So, it's evident that John Kerry was willing to act like he was throwing medals but it was just pretend. Now he wants to be the pretend President.
Karen Hughes, a campaign adviser to President Bush, described herself as "very troubled" by the fact that Kerry only throw away his ribbons -- not the medals themselves.
"He only pretended to throw his," she charged Sunday on CNN's "Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer."
We don't need a pretend President, we need the real thing. We have the real thing. Let's keep him.
