You Lookin' At Me . . .

Going back to work has put a small cramp in my blog posting time. This whole work thing right in the middle of the day seriously cuts into my efforts to brag about my kids.
Anyway, since the last post, Tommy has done some serious growing. On Sept. 5, Janet took Tommy to the pediatrician to weigh him - and he weighed 8 lbs., 14 oz.! He packed on 15 ounces in 10 days - which means he's seriously packing it on. And talk about long - this kid can be the next Yao Ming. It is amazing how much stronger and tougher this guy is already. Just a few weeks ago, I was struggling with how delicate and frail a newborn can be - and now Tommy is already feeling pretty solid.
The Bros
Nick is adjusting well - and better than we expected. I'm sure it isn't easy for him having to share the role of "center of the universe" in this family. No injuries thus far - except that Nick poked his little brother in the eye the other day. I don't think it was malicious, rather Nick was just testing Tommy to see if he is real. And other than an occassional whine, Nick has been a very sweet big brother. He reminds us to keep our voices down when Tommy is sleeping -- "shh . . . ta slee". And Nick loves to stroke Tommy's head and play with his feet. And can you blame him - not many things are cuter than a baby's tiny little foot.
