The United Nations says it is getting  reports Sri Lanka's Tamil Tigers were recruiting children displaced by Asia's tsunami and had told the rebels to leave under-age survivors alone.

DNA science used to ID bodies (USA Today).

Thousands of bodies of tsunami victims are in Buddhist temples across southern Thailand. For many days before their graves were dug, they lay on the temples' concrete floors in 90-degree heat, which accelerated decomposition and complicated efforts to identify them. The scientists are relying on dental records and DNA to help their cause.
