DPRK Nuke Talks Recess (AP). UPDATED Envoys to deadlocked North Korean nuclear talks will take a recess after a record 13 days of meetings failed to bring agreement on a joint statement meant to guide future negotiations. The talks are scheduled to resume Aug. 29. Meanwhile, Japan and North Korea held a brief bilateral, but no progress is made on the abduction issue. 2005.08.07
