Our across the street neighbor Louisa Lauver continues to paint and blog some of the beauty in what I see when I look out my windows here on Cypress Street in the Aycock Historic District.

As I type this from my dining room table, I am looking at Louisa's front porch and next-door friends TK & Rick Miller's home/garden simultaneously.  If I turn my head I can then see Julie's house.  The Hoggard mansion is across the street on the left, the Miller's house in on the right, in this view from Louisa and Bob's porch.

Jinni is back home completely intact except for the cancer.  Good riddance.

She is sitting at the kitchen table eating a good ol' greasy Biscuitville breakfast.  Her left wing is a bit sore, but other than that - so far - none the worse for wear.

I was wrong about the final pathology report on the tumors - they won't be available until Wednesday.  But the preliminary report is encouraging.

It will be a movie-laden weekend for her as I make some attempts to knock out a long list of honey-do's in advance of the May 7th party for 150 or so of our closest friends.
