Ah, the dog days! High heat, high humidity, high ozone, triple-digit heat index, and out-of-control allergies. To make it worse, the baseball season is waning, at least in minor league towns like mine. There's really nothing like an afternoon on the first base side of a well-played game. September 1 is the last International League game until next year. Bummer.
