Golfing by Constraint

Great golf learning device is Swingyde. Properly used, it adds a constraint to the golf swing that forces a greater chance at a "correct" swing. But, like all constraint devices in movement work, it needs to be used properly. When it is, the the swing just happens. No need to try conscious control of movement reflexes controlled unconsciously. Things like shifting weight which just happens as a reaction to the swing. I've had really bad golf lessons that tried to force me to shift my weight and to get the timing right. And I paid these jerks to tell me this. Bottom line is that constraint devices like swingyde cede control more to the gamma motor system than the alpha one. I've written about that elsewhere in the weblog, but don't have time to look it up right now.
