AT&T Wireless Outsources (The Motley Fool). The Motley Fool - The Wall Street Journal is reporting that AT&T Wireless (NYSE: AWE - News), the second-largest wireless carrier in the U.S., plans to lay off 10% of its workforce. ILO Africa regional meeting holds in Addis Ababa. The 10th African Regional Meeting of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) will hold here 2-5 December, the ILO sub-regional office announced Wednesday.
It said participants from the region would discuss a range of contemporary challenges, including jobs and employment promotion in the context of globalisation, the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD), and the ILO's decent work agenda.
