Bay Area grocery workers prepare for contract fight. The United Food and Commercial Workers Union has planned a mass rally for March 14 in San Francisco to build support among both its own union members and others in the community.

Its target is expected to be Safeway, which the union says has pushed hardest to reduce employee health costs.
