I'm currently using this blog as a way to process Kroker. His writing is dense. On top of that it's arrogant, and designed to confuse. On top of that, he makes up words, and on top of that, he has a bad copy editor. So it's hard to tell a typo from a pun. All that and a touch of dyslexia, and pretty soon it's just monkey's typing Shakespeare.

(I do realize the  irony of using a weblog to write my thoughts about "Data Trash".)

But "...a desire for conspiracy theory, as the only possible narrative closure" resonates with me. If this is indeed the closing of the age, then narrative closure is important. History points to big events out as turning points (The civil war, the french revolution, the sacking of Rome). We 'know' that times have changed, and we're just waiting for the big event so we can get on with it.

So... It seems to me that livejournal users are mainly just people writing in their online diary about their personal lives. Radio users tend to be a little more techy, more techy than me that is, which isn't necessarily techy.

Other tools that I haven't type casted yet.

Blogger

Typepad

I've noticed that a lot about Live Journal users, and I think this about Radio users, because I'm trying to figure out how to do a very simple thing, and it's a little bit more difficult than I would expect. I figure other radio users must be techy, because they've obviously figured it out.
