I took the final. Here's hoping I did ok.
Up to this point Kara hasn't really needed my help, but she says, "I might start needing it soon." Good thing I had that wine, huh?
The labor pains have started to become painful, but we're not at TV labor yet. TV Labor is the steorotypical, spousal-abusive, histrionic labor that typifies popular culture's depiction. We'll have to go to the hospital before that starts.
Chris and Patty just left. They took Jake (the dog) for the next couple of days.

We went for our regularly scheduled appointment today. not too dialated (2-3 cm), but they did confirm the contractions. They sent us home until they get too painful to talk through.
I'm having a hard time studying for my final tonight.
The weather doesn't look good either. Here's the latest report from the National weather service.
"This Afternoon: Snow possible. Freezing Rain possible. Chance for measurable precipitation is 30%. Cloudy, with a high near 30. East wind around 7 mph.
Tonight: Occasional snow. The best chance for snow is after midnight. Freezing Rain possible until 9pm. Chance for measurable precipitation is 90%. Blowing snow possible after 3am. Cloudy, with a low around 22. North northwest wind 6 to 9 mph increasing to between 14 and 17 mph. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible. "

I think labor has finally started.
Contractions are about 5 minutes apart. They aren't very intense yet.
