My intention with this blog is to serve as a personal log for future reference. I have a terrible memory, my hope is that I can use this to refer back to some of the thoughts and experiences. Making it available to others is just incidental, or some would say an unfortunate consequence. Practice writing is another incidental, or some would say a desperate necessity. I'm inclined to think that this style has more of a negative effect than anything, making me numb to the practice of putting absolute crap right out on the table.
My point is that I think Zoe could do the same thing for email. Just store it all up and allow you to recapture lost threads. Zoe, for all its bluster of simplicity, is opaque to me at this point. Just the simple things, like setting up the accounts are not easy for me, and I certainly haven't found any instructions. Things don't seem to be working very well, yet I'm not getting any error messages.
On the plus side, if I wasn't trying to set up software to capture my every thought, I might not be having any thoughts at all. So let's write down some independent thoughts.
