There have been 18 times since 1985 when the NDX has been down 1% or more on Friday, down 1% on Monday, and down .5% on Tuesday.  The next day the NDX was higher 15 out of the 18 times, for an average gain of 2%.  After 5 days, it was still higher 15 times, with an avg return of 2.9%.  The three times it showed a loss were 9/9/86, 10/20/87 and 10/3/00. 8:21:16 AM
