Some good online writing

I’ve been doing a little more exploring of online writing. Here’s an entry in Aries Moon:

There was a fun "What drink are you?" web page linked here that appears to have buckled under the weight of visitors. I was a Margarita: fresh, frosty, and strong. I think that seems right. But what I've been drinking lately are sidecars. They're kind of a Grandma drink if Grandma were a product of Prohibition.

Sounds like a good workshop writing exercise. By the way, Aries Moon won the Diarist’s Legacy Award (the journal ran from 1997-2002). Some good writing there.

In this piece in the online journal, Hashai, a writer describes her mother’s emails. It sorta reminded me of some of my mom’s. Don’t miss the sidebar: The Crazy Lin Chao Motherly Advice Column, apparently written by the author’s mother-in-law. It’s pretty funny.
