Phew!
It's been a while. I had a wild past week at work and had no time to even think about this blog. Now that my boss is back things are a bit less hectic.
Poor Alan had a rough week-end. He had been hired to work at a gas station, and was supposed to start on Friday at 3:30. However, the bus that took him from his school to the service station took longer than he expected, and he didn't get to work until 3:45. He started to apologize but they cut him off, saying lateness would not be tolerated and he was being let go. You can imagine how mortified he was.
Iris started a part-time job on the week-end too, working at the concession stand at the local movie theatre. Not terribly stimulating work, but it's pocket money.
