Iris is feeling much better - she went to school today and she seemed fine when I dropped in at lunch time to see how she was doing.
Yesterday when I was home with her I got a couple of my Christmas presents mailed, and even started on my Christmas baking (although I notice that I wasn't quick enough in putting the short bread away in the freezer - gremlins had eaten it all by the time I got up this morning!)
I can't believe it's so close to Christmas! It seems just a few months ago I was writing here about the types of Christmas cookies I make....now we're there again. I'm actually pretty organized this year - have many of my presents purchased or made, and just need to mail a few more of them. We're having a frugal Christmas this year, after a rather extravagent summer of travel and house renovations.
