Just About There
I'm almost ready for Christmas...just have a couple of presents to wrap and need to make a trip to the bakery today. Joe is doing the big Christmas grocery shop. Finished baking the last of my Christmas cookies last night. Phew!
Morning Walk
Since Alan's early morning gym classes have ended for the holidays, I've been pretty lax about getting to the gym. My ballet classes are over until January too, so I'm feeling a bit like a slug. I decided to haul myself out of bed early this morning and go for a walk. Beautiful at that time of day...so quiet. It's been unseasonably mild here - up to plus 4 yesterday, and this morning the temperature was hovering around zero - so very pleasant for a hike.
I'm a bit hesitant about wandering too far into the woods these days though. Packs of wolves have been coming in to town. Nine dogs have gone missing recently, and wildlife officials are saying they're being taken by the wolves. Guess I'll have to start walking with a big stick just in case!
