AWG Day Two
Got an email from Iris this morning. She sounds like she's having a blast. The dance venues aren't always the greatest - she says yesterday they danced at two different places and one of them was very small. But other than that frustration, things are going well. There's a great photo of her in last night's Whitehorse Star, but they didn't put it on the on-line edition, so I can't post it here.
Alan's team won their game last night against Alaska (3-1). Today they play NWT, which has been doing extremely well. Apparently Alan was injured in the game - Iris says he was up until about 2:30 in the morning because he was in so much pain. She didn't know any more details and that son of mine of course isn't writing to me :( but I'm hoping it isn't really serious. It will kill him if he can't play for the rest of the week (and besides that, the team needs him).
