They Did it Again! Alan's team just played Alberta, and beat them 2-0. I can't believe it! No matter what happens in the semi-finals and finals, they will always be able to say they were the best team at these games. I feel sick when I think about them having to play Alaska tomorrow. I just hope no one else gets hurt, or Alan and Nick don't get injured even more. If they win tomorrow, they're going for gold. If they lose, they'll have to play for bronze, and I know that's not what they went there to do.

Here's the Whitehorse Star photo of Iris I was telling you about earlier, from the Arctic Winter Games.

Finally Finally got some news about Alan....not from him but from the mom of one of his teammates, Jared. Both Alan and another player were injured in their game against Alaska. Jared said the Alaskan game was the roughest he'd ever played in his life, and unfortunately the ref wasn't calling a very tight game. One of the players stomped on Alan's ankle.
He's been icing it as much as possible and apparently the coach let him play a little bit yesterday to give some of the other players a break. He may play a bit today as well, but again, only to give other players a break, since it doesn't matter whether they win or lose today's game. The bad news is that it looks like they're going to have to play Alaska again in the semi-final game.
