I had heard about the Ministers rowdy reception down in South Island, but I missed the TV footage. All is not lost - the Save Our Schools site have found the footage online and referenced it. Well done!
And so I got to see the Ministers rowdy reception down South. It was the kind of reception I wish we had had the guts to give him here in Upper Hutt! I think that the politeness with which we met him here hid the anger in the community, and thus did us a disservice.
I have now managed to convince several self-acknowledged Labour voters in our area to switch their allegiance. If we can convert our disquiet into votes against Labour we will bring these reviews to a halt!
