| As seen on Instapundit yesterday and as I discovered a couple of weeks ago through Robert Scoble's post, We the Media: Grassroots Journalism by the People, for the People looks to be a very worthwhile read. Since the book was published under the Creative Commons license, which permits free distribution of the text, the entire book has been released online with pdf files for each chapter. It is free for all to read. In an e-mail, I promised the author, Dan Gilmoor, that I would purchase a book if I enjoyed it and I encourage everyone who does enjoy his book to do so. | About a week ago, I received an e-mail from one of the founders of the outstanding collaborative political blog Red State. It asked if I was interested in covering Florida politics for them. I excitedly replied in the affirmative and now am an editor for the site. This morning I posted my first article. It's about the Democrats running for U.S. Senate in Florida. I am honored to be part of the Red State team and look forward to posting more articles in the future. If you haven't visited the site before, now is certainly a good time to do so.
