I posted a response to an interesting article at MIT's Technology Review.  The article is on Charles Simonyi's Intentional Programming language.  He talks about how the next generation of modeling tools for software are going to apply automation techniques from the manufacturing world.  Here's the link to my post - scroll down a bit.  You can also read his article from the next link.

Over the past 5 weeks I did a crash course in training for a marathon.  The race was Sunday.  I have to say it was a lot of fun, despite hitting the wall at mile 23.  I ended up with a 3:21.  Next one I want to do in 3:00.  Anyone know of a good winter marathon?

On this subject, I tried out a relatively new amino acid mixture derived from hornets in Japan.  Talk about jet fuel.  This stuff is quite amazing.  It's called vaam.  If anyone else has tried it out, I'd like to compare notes - since it was a bit of a science project for me.
