Politics of Hate?

For the record, I don't hate George W. Bush. Frankly he's too foolish and pathetic to inspire hate. Some people are too stupid to be president--some people are too stupid to hate. It can certainly be argued that Bush is a mass murderer, but if, for example, a mentally retarded person caused the death of a bunch of people due simply to an utter lack of intelligence, would it make any sense to hate him or her? (I must say that undoubtedly the vast majority of mentally retarded people are much better and more desirable human beings than George W. Bush--more productive, more compassionate, and a million times less harmful--so it is by no means my intent to insult them by comparison--it's simply an analogy to illustrate a point.)

George W. Bush is a foolish soul who doesn't know the first thing about anything important, so I wouldn't waste my energy hating him, but I certainly hate what he has done. I hate his policies. I hate his rhetoric. I hate the themes and schemes and ideologies of his administration. I hate his idiocy and his arrogance and his ignorance. I hate his stupid and careless war. I hate his deeds and his legacy and his disasterous results.
