June 4 Trial Set for Tucson Puma Reporter
Federal prosecutors have not dropped their case against Esquire reporter John H. Richardson, who was arrested in March while accompanying an activist on public land that had been "closed" for a hunt of troublesome cougars. A trial date of June 3, 2004, was set for Richardson in the federal district court in Tucson. If convicted, he could face thousands of dollars in fines and up to 18 months in jail. Previous story.
