If you are in Miami, do yourself a favor and check out the World Chess Hall of Fame. This wonderful addition to our chess cutlure was primarily the work of first Sid Samole, and then his son Shane of Excalibur Electronics.

Last month I reported "The USCF is lucky to have FM Paul Truong on board helping out." The current issue of Chess Life announces his hiring as well. However, I have learned that Paul has already resigned his position. It appears that Paul was disatisfied by the organization's lack of responsiveness. He is not the first person to feel that way. Too bad.
