I am really getting bummed with T-Mobile. I had a variety of issues with their devices and that resulted in my third new device from them. A little scary that they seem to be having so many problems. I recently contacted them to ask about their upgrade to PPC 2003. Hopefully this will fix my remaining issues. Suprisingly - their response was a couple of months!! If anyone from T-Mobile is reading this - Come on Guys!!

Here is their rather vague response - Hmm.. Maybe Verizon is the answer!

Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile.

The T-Mobile Pocket PC 2003 Phone Edition upgrade is scheduled to be available in the next few months. T-Mobile is working with Microsoft to ensure that the upgrade is successful for customers, and is currently in the process of finalizing the upgrade. The device upgrade will be available via T-Mobile.com once the software has been completed. All Pocket PC Phone Edition customers will also be contacted regarding this upgrade.

Note: Microsoft has software upgrades available on their website. The downloads on their website are for the Pocket PC's without phone capabilities or for non-T-Mobile devices. Those versions are available from some of the device manufacturers via their website and links from the Microsoft Mobile Pocket PC site. THIS VERSION WILL NOT WORK WITH THE T-MOBILE POCKET PC PHONE EDITION.
