Subject: Kwantlen First Nation Pow Wow

Just a reminder that we are still looking for volunteers to help with the 7th Annual Kwantlen First Nation Pow Wow being held at the Langley Fine Arts School (9096 Trattle Street Fort Langley) from March 18 through to March 20th. The presence of KUC staff, students, and faculty has, in past years, helped make the Pow Wow a great success. Volunteering also gives KUC people an opportunity to show their support to Kwantlen First Nation through their presence. The hours that volunteers are needed are as follows: Friday March 18th from 2pm-11pm, Saturday March 19th from 11am - 11pm, Sunday March 20th from 11am - 8pm. We request that volunteers commit for at least one four hour shift.

Within a few weeks of the Pow Wow we also invite all volunteers to a feast to honor them for their support and help.

Please consider helping out and/or pass this information on to students and friends. Non-KUC people are also welcome to help out. If interested please email me at laura.cooper@kwantlen.ca or dr.lauracooper@gmail.com

You can phone me at 604 329-9207 Thanks, Laura Cooper: Kwantlen First Nation Pow Wow Committee
