JAX-RPC and OC4J

Was reviewing Anirban Chatterjee's article on J2EE 1.4 and JSR 109 tonight  - worth a quick browse to see what an implementation of JAX-RPC 1.1 and JSR 109 looks like outside of Sun's reference implementation.  The "I get it" part comes when you download OC4J 10.0.3 J2EE 1.4 Developer Preview and try out the JAX-RPC Web service samples Anirban writes about.

I also have a complementary Oracle Magazine article+tutorial showing off the new JDeveloper JAX-RPC extension that runs on top of this environment that should come out shortly.  You can get a preview of the tutorial which corresponds to Anirban's bottom up approach here ... not publicly linked on OTN as the JDeveloper design time extension is just going through final QA.  In the meantime, it gives a taste of what is coming :-)

Am completely stoked by my new wireless lan/router installed tonight -- interestingly, provided here in California with multiple European electrical plug types -- now I will get no late night complaints about loud typing because I am in a room far away from other family folks.
