Now I have got the look cleaned up it's time to introduce me.
First off all : please call me 'Shorty'. I've heard about a million different flavors of my first name beeing spoken in English and most of the times it came out like the Ketchup (Heinz).

How I became a .Netter
Some allready call me a Mickey (a Microsoft addict), but I started out as a scientist. I actually graduated as a Biochemical Engineer and yes "how in the world did he end up programming?" Well my mom bought a computer in 1986 I think. You know DOS still rocking and with 640 kb ram it was a super machine. That got me started.
So after I graduated (in the year 2000 - the boom of IT) I sought and found a job in the IT. In 2001 I went (for the first time) to DEV Days Benelux and got my hands on Beta 1 of VS.NET (which still has a place among the memorablia). Since then I didn't let go of .Net - or was it the other way round??
I'm now 3.5 years down the road and I learned a lot (but not enough). Earned my MCAD for .Net this month.
So this is now...
Enjoy!
And make no mistake : it's SHORTY
