Reset DMS Metrics Information

A user on the OTN J2EE forum recently asked a pretty good question about how to reset DMS metrics that have been captured.  The poster wanted to reset the metrics so he could view data collected over a time window of his own choosing.  There is no obvious reset button in the output of the Spy servlet, so he wasn't sure if it could be done. Neither was I, so I asked our DMS engineering team.

As it turns out, with OracleAS 10g (9.0.4), there is a way to request the Spy servlet to perfom a reset of specific metrics information that it has collected. The details are in
Reset DMS Metrics.
