I'm in Boston at the ISA Marketing and Sales Symposium. Despite corporate travel restrictions there is a nice group of automation industry marketers looking for new ideas and networking. "Social media" generates the most interest. People are looking for tips, best practices and justifications for some of the technologies such as blogging, Twitter, YouTube and the like. I'll be participating on a panel later this morning with Shari Worthington and Juliann Grant of Telesian Technology, Jon DiPietro who is President of the Boston ISA section, Catherine Derkosh of Siemens Energy & Automation, Brian Halligan of HubSpot and Walt Boyes of Control magazine. Should be a lively discussion.
