Saturday I paid $40 to renew my Radio Userland subscription for another year, so I guess that means I still believe (contrary to the evidence...) that Benzene is still active. Last year — counting from my startup date, which is some time in mid-February — I added only six posts, all of which are still showing on the front page since it's set to show the last ten.

I do rather miss having blogging in my life. With everything else going on, I don't expect I'll ever again post as voluminously as I did in the first year, but starting now I think I'm going to make a point of posting something at least once a week, even if it's just a short item. (I have yet to master the art of short items....)

I haven't given up on my books project either. I've still got five to report left over from last year. One of those is mostly written, except that I didn't finish the vocabulary words section. I'm really not much more behind than I was when I last posted in November, since I've only finished one new book since then, though I've started several.
