Gimme that ol' time religion As Maureen Dowd points out, Bush behaved as if he were the nation's chaplain-in-chief yesterday at the site of the Biblical deluge in New Orleans: “There will be a momentum, momentum will be gathered. Houses will begat jobs, jobs will begat houses.” Whenever Bush speaks, I can never tell whether he's imagining he's Will Rogers or Winston Churchill.  Yesterday, he sounded like Elmer Gantry. 3:06:05 PM    comment []
