I highly recommend that readers do NOT subscribe to this RSS feed yet. There's a problem that I'm trying to work through.

This blog is brand new. Follow along as I learn CoreAudio, QuickTime, some old Carbon Sound Manager stuff, and FLAC. The point is to create a FLAC QuickTime component so that there is system-wide support for this lossless audio compression format.

Read this summary for some other details.

Lately there appears to be several people working on this or about to work on this. More power to them.
