The code for the PNIC subclass is now frozen. I'm "stress" testing it right now, but it looks pretty good. There is one niggling bug still hanging around, but I'll try to catch it in the next release. Most users won't run into it unless they are running very very very loaded systems. I have a hard time reproducing it and don't even know yet what is broken, but I do know it's there...

After I complete the PNIC stress test, I'll move on to verifying the ADMtek code is as solid as I can make it. This code hasn't hung on me in ages, so I'm pretty confident. However, there have been a couple of small changes made to its parent class so it is possible I've introduced a problem. One regression test coming up!

When that is complete (hopefully tonight), I will double-check the DEC 2114x code one last time and stress it. There are some problems on a multi-port card that I don't think are completely fixed, but it should be good enough for most usage. Unless I have tons of free time this week, it's likely I'll freeze this code as-is and catch any lingering bugs in a subsequent release.

Lastly, I'll probably import all this code into a fresh, brand spankin' new project over at opendarwin.org prior to its official import into opendarwin 7.2.0. We'll see...
