Okay, maybe this is name dropping or something, and I'm sorry about that, but it's just too cool. Had occasion to talk to Harlan Ellison on the phone yesterday, about possibly developing one of his properties for radio. I've always been a fan of his, and actually adapted one of his stories, I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, for a class back in university (never produced). Sadly, I've since lost my copy of that script, for which I got an A. (Thanks Mrs. Diamond!)
Anyway, Harlan was quite friendly and forthcoming on the phone, laughed a lot, and I found him quite charming. I really hope my little project with him works out, but even if it doesn't, hey, I got to talk to Harlan Ellison. :)
