Back to work this coming Monday. All sorts of interesting projects coming up... possibilities for Faster Than Light (yes, the unending saga... it's still on the table, believe it or not), there has been some discussion involving my science fiction serial Captain's Away, plus I get to sift through and help select proposals from the lastest CBC Radio A&E proposal call.  Apparently we got over four hundred proposals, so I have my work cut out for me.

Also, I'm finishing up a half hour special on the career of Arthur J. Vaughan, who worked as a Customs Officer at Pier 21 in Halifax following the Second World War.  I interviewed Arthur, who is eighty-five, a couple of months ago... I'll be putting the finishing touches on that first thing Monday morning.

On the fiction writing front, I just subbed to On Spec, got high hopes for that one, and I hope to send out three more short stories in the next few days.  And of course I'm still hard at work on the great Canadian (science fantasy) novel, Beautiful Stranger (From the Files of Barnabus J. Wildebear).  Only another fifty thousand words or so to go there.  :)
