Boy time flies... can't believe it was Remembrance Day when last I updated these pages. "Time flies like an arrow... fruit flies like a banana," as they say. Or at least, as Groucho Marx says.
Have Stacy Gardner coming in tomorrow morning to discuss her project "Worms for Sale," a charming piece set in Newfoundland that we hope to produce after Christmas. And then in the afternoon, Rob Sawyer will be in along with Alison Moss to work on what I'm calling Faster Than Light 3.1. We're not completely redoing our third pilot of Faster Than Light, just tweaking it.
Rob and Michael Lennick have also submitted their outline for the first episode (called "Birth") of another science fiction project, a series they're calling Emanations. The outline is, naturally, terrific... I can't wait to see the final script.
Finally, we've been in touch with J. Michael Straczynski of Babylon 5 fame to do some work for us. We're still working out the details, but he seems keen and we're certainly keen to have him. He's written an original radio play replete with his trademark wit and verve which we may very well record in 5.1.
So lots of exciting things happening. Stay tuned and I'll keep you posted. All three of you that check out this blog! :-)
