The Cause of Disease
Cancer and other major diseases can result when a body is made susceptible because of toxins that are present within that body. These toxins can irritate tissue so that tissue regeneration takes place at an accelerated rate, increasing the chances for the production of defective cells. If the immune system becomes overloaded and is unable to keep up to the task of eliminating those defective cells then the defective cells can grow wildly and the result is cancer.
In a healthy body the liver normally deals with toxins in two ways. It can metabolize them into less harmful substances or it can pass them into the gall bladder along with bile. The toxins are then released into the small colon so that they can be excreted along with digestive waste.
The colon is the sewer pipe of the body for waste and toxins. The moisture-laden mix of waste and toxins is pushed from the colon to the rectum and excreted through the anus.
When the body is dehydrated it may become necessary for the body to recover water from the colon. If the waste has not been eliminated, the toxins are then re-circulated with the recovered water and the body (mainly the liver) has to again deal with those toxins. The process is called autointoxification.
The need for speedy movement of waste through the system is apparent. However, in our society, processed foods mean for most people a sluggish colon that, in turn, means toxin-laden bodies. Those toxins cause disease whenever the body has to deal with them on a long-term (chronic) basis.
To get healthy and stay healthy you must stop the cycle of autointoxification by
- colon cleansing ... to increase the speed of transit
- liver flushing ... to give your liver a rest
- eating healthy ... plenty of raw fruits and vegetables
A healthy body will be a clean body, inside as well as outside.
