Thomas Nelson, my publisher, has translated Duct Tape Marketing into Portuguese under the Thomas Nelson Brasil imprint.

While the cover features a UFO like floating roll of duct tape the title: Marketing de baixo custo e alto impacto - translates roughly to Marketing of low cost and high impact. (I’ve learned that Americans have a fondness for duct tape that doesn’t always translate well.)

I spent some time chatting with Jon Fine, Media columnist for Business Week, for the current episode of the Duct Tape Marketing podcast.

Sort of relevant side note: I connected with Jon on Facebook - he’s really into it at the moment and might not have agreed to be on the show were it not for the fact that I contacted him through Facebook. For the moment, the ability to make some new contacts seems to be a short term value of the social network.
