This is statement is really deabatable whether IBM is really the Top Application Server vendor. However IDC reports suggest IBM has surpassed BEA in term of revenues in the J2EE Application Server business. It is really heartening to see Oracle is closing the gap so it's no longer a two horse race between IBM and BEA and now it has three major horses in the race.

BEA: 26.3 per cent
