Fed up with life in the UK we moved to France for a new start. Left behind the private schooling, traffic jams and housing estates for a better quality of life. We now live in Brittany, France running gites (holiday cottages).

A couple of days these two appeared in a local field. As an indication of their size the ladies earrings are made from car tyres. Very artistic farmers we have in France.
I think they are going to be used to advertise the local agricultural show in Les Champs Geraux next month.

These are our experiences of running a gite business in Brittany, France. A gite is the French equivalent of a country holiday cottage. French culture, language, taxes and bureaucracy.
