Fed up with life in the UK we moved to France for a new start. Left behind the private schooling, traffic jams and housing estates for a better quality of life. We now live in Brittany, France running gites (holiday cottages).

Borrowed a dehumidifier from a friend to help dry out the water leak. It has extracted about 10 litres in the last 24 hours. It already feels more comfortable in the gite whilst working.
Hopefully I should finish the second coat of painting tomorrow.

These are our experiences of running a gite business in Brittany, France. A gite is the French equivalent of a country holiday cottage. French culture, language, taxes and bureaucracy.
